# Business credit comprehensive

The full business credit report: judgments, property, trade references, directors, turnover and scoring.

Retrieves a full business report covering registration details, financial information, judgments, property, trade references, credit circles, director records, turnover history and scoring. Use it when you need the full picture of a business before a credit or onboarding decision.

## How it works

One request matches the business and returns the full report. It takes slightly longer than [Business credit check](/product/products/screening/credit/business-check.md) because the report is much larger.

## What it returns

The matched business, plus a full report: registration details, addresses and capital structure; auditor information; VAT registration; judgment counts and records; property holdings and bonds; trade references; bank code history; credit circle (trade payment) records; enquiries made against the business, current and historical; current directors and adverse-event counts; annual turnover history; a risk score, rating band, plain-text interpretation and probability of default; and, for each director, other businesses and properties they are linked to, plus the business's address history.

## Inputs required

A company name or registration number. Trading name, a prescribed purpose and your own reference are optional.

## Data source

Commercial credit bureau data.

## Consent and permissible purpose

You must confirm on each request that consent has been obtained. See [Consent and permissible use](/product/overview/how-it-works/consent.md).

## Channels

Portal and API. For request and response detail, see the [API reference](https://developer.fraudcheck.co.za/commercial-service/credit-and-financial-risk/commercial-detail-turnover).

## Outcomes

A full report with a risk score and rating band, rather than a single decision.

## Turnaround

Near real-time, typically under 10 seconds.

## When to use it

Full due diligence before extending credit or entering a contract, retrieving detailed financial and adverse history for a business, or getting directors' property and business interests alongside business-level risk data.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.fraudcheck.co.za/product/products/screening/credit/business-comprehensive.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
